As I was growing up we had a young doctor in our neighbourhood and watching her taking care of people and the love she got from the community made an impact on me. I wanted to be like her and there started my Journey as a doctor.
During nephrology rotation seeing patients on dialysis was a scientific miracle for me, though having kidney disease is overwhelming but there are so many options including dialysis and kidney transplant, this gives hope to patients and they can guide their future and take part in managing it.
I believe empowering patients with knowledge will help them understand the cause of their kidney disease and learn ways to keep their kidney in good health for a long time. Patient care, patient respect and patient relationship are the core elements of my practice.
