My wife has seen Dr. Velasumy over the last several months, and we can't be more pleased with her... care. Dr. Velasumy was empathetic, and methodical in her treatment. She ordered labs as needed, and made referrals to other specialists, but was always forthcoming with the costs of such. Dr. Velasumy shared her personal cell phone number and was in contact with us in between visits. Surely, no patient wants to be referred to a renal specialist, but if necessary, Dr. Velasumy is outstanding.read more

I am using my husband's name but I, his wife, cannot recommend Dallas Renal Group located on... Wheatland Road. The drs there I saw were not diligent. The first female dr I had difficulty understanding. The next was a male dr. who was great but he left to go to another place, so I got another female dr. within the same group at that location who was not so diligent. I requested my medical records be sent to another doctor and they faxed Dallas renal GRoup 3 times and they refused to send my medical records for some reason. GLad I got a better nephrologist now. Still am upset they did not send my records.read more

Dr. Hanna Thomas: Kind, compassionate, completely competent and then some, gentle with patients,... and understanding with the family of the patient.
