My passion for medicine grew from both my upbringing and medical training, where I was inspired by mentors who combined clinical excellence with deep compassion. They emphasized that a physician’s role is not just treating disease, but caring for the whole person—a philosophy I’ve carried with me into practice. Nephrology, in particular, allowed me to build lasting relationships with patients while navigating complex physiology. Kidney disease doesn’t exist in isolation; it impacts every aspect of a person’s health, choices, and future. I value the opportunity to walk alongside patients through each stage of their journey, whether managing chronic illness, navigating dialysis, or preparing for transplant. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to patient empowerment. I believe that informed, engaged patients make the best decisions for their health. I strive to create a collaborative environment where patients understand their condition, feel heard in their care, and are equipped with the tools and support needed to advocate for themselves. By combining evidence-based medicine with empathy and education, I aim to help people live fully and confidently with their kidney disease.
