I chose the field of medicine because I felt it was a profession in which one can have the highest level of job satisfaction. You can see the rewards of your hard work when you see the patients you care for do well, and you make an impact on their life. The patients that I care for become like family.
When I spend time talking to them about their disease, they understand that a healthy lifestyle and diet can help them cope with the burden.
I choose the field of nephrology because it is a challenging field, and I feel blessed and thrilled when my patients do well. I know that they are truly thankful to me for taking care of them. This feeling of satisfaction and happiness keeps me going.
