What I love about Nephrology is that it is a challenging but also fascinating specialty as the kidneys have many important functions within the human system. I also very much enjoy the long-term relationship with patients, the continuity of care, and the multidisciplinary environment.
As a provider, I would like my patients to know that coping with chronic illness requires strength, support and understanding of the disease. My goal for my patients is for them to be educated, so they can have a meaningful life while dealing with their chronic illnesses.
