FAQ's

We see any patients who may exhibit signs of kidney conditions, such as kidney injury or kidney stones, or diseases such as chronic kidney disease. If a patient has diabetes and/or high blood pressure, they are at higher risk of kidney disease, so it is important to screen these patients to prevent kidney damage. Our team of nephrologists have a vast array of specialties, from kidney injury to transplantation.

If a patient has suffered kidney injury or may have kidney stones, we want to see them immediately. If a patient has diabetes and/or high blood pressure, they are at higher risk of kidney disease, so it is important to screen these patients to prevent kidney damage. We want to be involved in early stages of detection if at all possible. If the patient has not received dialysis before, they will need to have a vascular access created, which provides a way for blood to be removed from the body, circulate through the dialysis machine, and then return to the body at a rate that is higher than can be achieved through a normal vein. We work with Dallas Vascular Center, a Joint Commission Gold Seal-Approved facility.
